Mr Trikha quickly diagnosed the problem with my knee, quickly followed by surgery , with good post op advice, and the knee now back good as new. No post op pain stopped painkillers day after the op. Very satisfied

Mr Trikha was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. His care has made me a new woman as the pain from my knee was affecting my lifestyle. His approach to trying an alternative procedure before recommending joint replacement was much appreciated. I would thoroughly recommend this consultant.

The man is a magician. I have recently had my second knee arthroscopy at the hands of Mr Trikha. The first was on my left knee for a cartilage tear and this one was on the right for a meniscus tear. In both cases I was in a lot of discomfort prior to the operation but afterwards I have not had any problems at all. In the most recent case my recovery has been very quick so far and at no point have I had any pain. In fact the only pain in the whole process I had was the scratch of the cannula needle going into the back of my hand for the anesthetic! I couldn't be happier and I recommend anyone I know with knee problems to see Mr Trikha.

I was referred to Mr Trikha having experienced knee pain for many months. I do a lot of photography and had noticed that I was unable to crouch down easily and getting up was pretty much impossible unless I had something to hold on to. After an initial consultation followed by and MRI scan, Mr Trikha decided that a cortisone injection and physiotherapy was the best way forward. The relief was immediate and I could crouch down straight after the injection. After the initial soreness of the injection, 72 hours later I was pain free - no need for surgery - and I still am two months later. Physiotherapy has also helped me to understand the reasons for the problem and hopefully the exercises and stretches that I have been given will continue to ensure I remain pain free. Mr Trikha was very efficient and very supportive following a cancelled MRI problem. I hope my knee is now better but I would be very happy to be referred to him again should I have any further problems.

An unusual orthopaedic surgeon who tries to avoid operating, even when BUPA paying! Both my wife and I have seen him with knee pain, she had keyhole work on her knee 20 years ago after a car accident and got a recurrence of knee pain 5 years ago. He sent her for MRI and argued that to remove more material would mean she would be after a new knee in 10 years time. She has done well with just physio. I went to him as a runner with knee pain and he has done vhis best to avoid operating although still ends most consults with "I'm not refusing to do it but let's just see how things progress" A good listener but as quick as most surgeons!
